Whether it's that second piece of pumpkin pie, a past
relationship, or a nagging regret, sometimes it's just hard to let
go. One of the biggest reasons why it's hard to let go is
because each person believes they are strong enough to fix the
problem they are facing.
"I can stop drinking whenever I want."
"If I finally give in, then he will come back to
me."
"If I buy this present for them, then they will like
me."
These are just a few of the lies we tell ourselves about our
strength and control. Do any of them sound familiar?
Here's the real problem: You're not strong
enough. It's true. You can't control, manipulate or
fix all the problems in your life. However, there is some
really good news. If we learn to let go of whatever issue we
are trying to fix, we will discover that God is strong enough, and
he will provide for us the next step we need to take. Do you
