One of the things that social distancing is teaching us is that
it's weird to not be around people. Listen, even some
introverts wouldn't mind being in contact with at least one other
person! Which brings about an interesting
thought: What is a follower of Jesus supposed to do when
they are stuck in isolation? Aside from day to day
activities and carrying out their regular
responsibilities. How is a Christian supposed to be
carrying out the work of Jesus when they are social distancing or
stuck in isolation?
The apostle Paul's letter to the Christians in Colossae actually
concludes with two ways people can still be engaged in Kingdom
work, even in isolation...and remember, Paul would know! He
writes the Colossian letter while sitting in Rome under house
arrest. Give a listen to the close of this Rooted series as
we take a look at some practical ways people can have a significant
Kingdom impact, even in isolation.
