Holy. It's a word we use in our culture to describe smoke, cows and other things. However, when we use it to describe people, it's almost a derogatory term: "You think you are all holier than thou?!" It's almost as if no one wants to claim holiness! Being holy is reserved for the really religious, morally upstanding folks, and not for regular people. This is a problem. God is described as holy, that's easy to understand, but here's where the problem begins: God calls his people to be holy. We are to be holy, but how? What are we to do?
